AI Mastering

Upload a mix, get a first master in about a minute, then steer it with plain-language prompts, six AI engineers and a revision suite. Compare and finalize.

#What mastering does here

Mastering is the last step before release: the mix gets balanced, glued, brought up to a competitive level and made safe for every speaker. SoundBoost does this with real mastering tools (analog-style colour, compression, resonance control, a true-peak limiter) that adapt to your track. It listens first: your song is analysed for loudness and genre, and the treatment is chosen before anything is touched.

The part people like most is that you do not have to speak engineer. You can type "warmer, less harsh, keep the dynamics" and the AI engineer takes it from there. If you do speak engineer, the Revision Suite on the left gives you the controls too.

#The whole flow in five steps

  1. Upload a track
Drop a WAV, MP3, FLAC or another audio file, name the project and pick the 30 seconds you care about most. Details.
  2. Listen to the Default Revision
About a minute later your first master is ready. Flip Mastering ON / OFF to hear it against the original at the same spot in the song.
  3. Ask for changes
Write a prompt, name a reference track, switch engineer, or turn the knobs in the Revision Suite. Every change becomes a new revision.
  4. A/B and pick a winner
Click between revisions while the track keeps playing. Star the one you love. How A/B works.
  5. Finalize and download
Finalize renders the full track at full quality. Download WAV or MP3 from Projects. Finalizing.
A prompt goes in, a revision comes out. The engineer explains what it changed.

#Previews first, full render at the end

Every revision is rendered on the 30-second section you chose at upload, so trying ideas is fast and free. When you finalize, the same settings are applied to the whole song at full quality. Plus members can also render a full-length preview of any revision before finalizing.

#Where to start

#Web, iOS and Android

Mastering lives in the web app at mastering.soundboost.ai and in the SoundBoost app for iOS and Android. Prompts, engineers, intensity, the Revision Suite, Custom EQ, A/B and finalize all work on mobile. A few power features (bulk mastering, seeds at upload, voice mode, share session, the engine picker) are web only for now. Each page in this section shows its own compatibility line.

Do I need to know mastering to use this?

No. Upload, listen, and type what you want in plain words. The engineer picks the settings and tells you what it did. The knobs are there when you want them.

Is my track uploaded and stored?

Yes. Your original and every render are stored in your project so you can come back, compare and finalize later. You can delete a project any time from Projects.

Does it change the loudness to a fixed LUFS?

No. There is no forced loudness target. The level comes from your genre, the Loudness option and Intensity, with a true-peak limiter keeping the peaks safe. Use the True Peak option if a platform wants more headroom.

What does a revision cost?

Nothing. Previews and revisions are free on every plan, with a per-project revision limit on non-Plus plans. Finalizing and downloading the full master is part of Unlimited and Unlimited Plus. See Plans and limits.
