Link in Bio
Paste a streaming link and get a release page at soundboo.st with cover art, a preview, buttons for every platform and click analytics. Free with a SoundBoost account.
Link in Bio makes a landing page for a release: cover art, title, a preview, and one button per platform, at a short soundboo.st address you can put in a profile, a post or a QR code. Fans tap the player they already use. You see where they went.
#Building one
- Paste a streaming linkOpen Link in Bio in the app (sign in first) and paste a Spotify, Apple Music or other platform link into Source. Title, artist and cover art fill themselves in when the release is found.
- TitleArtist name, track name, release type (Single, EP or Album), track count and release date. Genre is optional; if you set one, set both primary and secondary.
- DesignKeep the resolved cover or upload your own (JPEG, PNG or WebP, under 10 MB). Choose the Dark or Light theme and decide whether to Enable audio preview.
- LinksAdd the platforms you are on, reorder them, remove the ones you are not. Your pasted link is the primary one and stays at the top.
- Create Link in BioThe public address is assigned on creation. Copy it from the dashboard and you are live.
#Platforms
Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube, YouTube Music, Bandcamp, Beatport, and a Custom link for anything else (a merch store, a Patreon, your own site). One button per platform, up to ten in total. Platform links must be the real https address of that platform; the builder checks.
#The page fans see
- Cover art with a play button when the audio preview is on; the preview is the short clip the streaming catalogue provides for the release.
- Track name, artist, release type, track count and date.
- A button per platform, labelled the way people expect: Play for players, Watch for YouTube, Open for a custom link.
- A share menu with Share and Copy link.
#Dashboard and analytics
Every page you made is listed under Published or Archived, with a copy button for the address, the creation date and the numbers: Page views, Link clicks and Clicks by platform. The menu on each card archives, publishes or deletes it. Edit any time; the address never changes.
Can I choose the address?
Not yet. Each page gets a short soundboo.st code when it is created, and it stays the same for as long as the page exists.
Is there a limit on pages?
No. Make one per release, or one per single and one for the album.
Does it use my SoundBoost master?
Not directly. The page links to the release on the platforms, and the preview comes from there. Master with SoundBoost, distribute, then paste the link.
Can I edit a page after sharing it?
Yes. Add a platform when the release goes live there, swap the cover, change the theme. The link your fans have keeps working.
